This type of weather is what people who love winter dream about. Here in vermont we have been getting hit hard all day with nice dry soft powder. This winter has been declared my come back and the snow is starting to play along with my plans. This weekend my cousin and sister are coing up to learn how to ski at smuggs with me, The conditions are going to be great for learning.
Im hoping to get out to catamount tomorrow to hit up some fresh groomed cords, my goal is to get 15k in. I dont think I am up for the biathlon like I was hoping to, so Ill save that goal for next winter. I am using this as a warm up for the mountain bike season. I think I have convinced my self that I would l;ike a new bike for this season. My buddy ry who works at jamis bikes is going to hook me up with a deal on a new xtc4 and I will have one of the hottest rigs out on the trails. Im looking foward to getting back into riding. Ever since my dad died Ive had a hard time getting back on the bike but I think the time has come and I need to get back in the saddle. I dont think I want to race but I would like to figure out some sort of east coast epic ride and get some people to come along for the adventure. I would also like to get a few century rides under my belt this year.
